A MUSEUM COMPLEX IN THE HEART OF THE ARTS DISTRICT. Proud of its renowned collection of Quebec art, the Musée offers a comprehensive overview of the history of Quebec art from the 17th century to the present day, featuring a rich collection of more than 38,000 works. Located in Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage city, the MNBAQ includes four pavilions, including the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion, inaugurated in 2016, which is dedicated to contemporary art and features an impressive collection of Inuit art. The museum also presents several permanent exhibitions showcasing modern and historical art collections. Every year, we host major internationally acclaimed featured exhibitions.
